Mets are 4-1 in games started by Nimmo, the only loss being the bullpen-blown walky-walky game to the Nats.

A rainout could mean a DH on either May 28, 29 or 30 (perhaps a Memorial Day DH). That's already a stretch with 17 games in 17 days (which is followed by 3 off days in the next 8). Or as Howie just said, on the other side of those 8 days they are back in ATL on June 12 for the 3d time already and there is an off day on June 11 following a Sunday Night game.

June 11 is a mutual off day for the teams talked up by the radio guys as the landing spot for a possible makeup game. Mets will be in town in advance of a two-game series.

Should they play, today is Cabrera's first time batting cleanup since Opening Day. He's batted leadoff five times, second five times, third four times and fifth four times. Mickey must love this guy.

Called it! Both the game and the makeup: May 28 makeup, day-night, 1 PM and 7 PM. Nicely visionary, bmfc1.
