Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 So, Reyes or Flores in the outfield ... it's never going to happen, is it? Or at least, not until the team gets in a jam during the regular season and they need it to happen.See also: Our catchers in the infield.Run 'em out there, man!
Guest sharpie Guests Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Also would like to see Jay Bruce get a game at first base.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Yeah, what's up with that, American League manager?
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 I'd be happy just to have the game audio available online. If Sirius XM didn't suck a big fat toe.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Live shot of Conforto in a minor league game just made me swoon.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Since I have been crapping on Gonzalez as much or more as anyone here, I feel obligated to point out his very nice opposite field single in his first AB. I think it made Keith a little horny, too.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Mets get a run on a Cabrera double and a Jay Bruce single, while Jacob deGrom just does the damn thing, 3 IP, 6 K's.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Feels like the first lead in a week.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Pretty, leaping snare by Rosario to end the Orioles half of the 4th.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Rosario just made a sweet barehanded play that will be worth the hunt online for the replay. Jake did 5 scoreless, 8 K's, but Gsellman comes on and promptly gives up a homer. 1-1 score.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Remember that lead? Gone - error by Bruce and a homer by Beckham offa Gsellman.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Frazier walks, then gets picked off by Josh Edgin. The Mets are playing some sloppy ass baseball this month.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Is not good >, =, or < meh?Glad I DVR'd, can't wait to watch deGrom sail through five like a hot knife through butter.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 I feel like his RBI single was decidedly "good", but the error was inarguably "not good".

The stretches where Bruce has been good, as someone that's especially benefited from a juiced ball, are when he elevates the ball. I mean, it doesn't matter. It's practice. Hopefully he can still get some good power in 2018. But he'll never be a good fielder.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 I like this team!My only gripe is the number of pitchers we are going to bring north.13 feels like a stretch and an unlucky number
