Batty31 Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 I picked up a 1970 Met Yearbook at a flea market last weekend. The vendor is an acquaintance of mine who had no clue I was a Met fan (or even a baseball fan). He gave this to me for what I think is a ridiculously dirt cheap price only because he’s been wanting to date me for years lol. So how much do 1970 yearbooks go for? I did some research, but I’m curious what you guys think. It’s in excellent/near mint condition. I tried to attach pictures of it but the file is too big.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 I took a quick look at eBay and it seems to be selling for between $15 and $50 more or less.
Batty31 Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2018 Author Posted March 14, 2018 Thanks! I got it for $10 and it’s in excellent condition. He did give me a good deal then. He said he has other years he’s going to bring next time.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 That's a great deal. The '70 yearbook was the first I ever owned. 75 cents!!!! I still love browsing through it. Extra special because it covers the '69 series.http://www.faithandfearinflushing.com/2011/05/09/mets-yearbook-1970/[fimg=500]http://www.faithandfearinflushing.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/1970Yearbook.jpg[/fimg]

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Could you image when an "official" team journal would feature a photo of rioting fans on the cover. Amazin
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 $10 is great! I love that yearbook!
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Should we have a Yearbook Cover Derby?
