  1. only in your mind. thank you for explaining my statements based upon your intrepretations. go ahead have the last word because you really are edgy. i will not waste anymore time on your inane egostistical comments. toodles.
  2. and i didnt advocate "for bloods sake."
  3. amen. exactly my point. firing will prove admission of previous failures and the desire to rectify those deficiencies once and for all. i am sure that steve did not make his billions by accepting failure and he has to prove that, once again, with this scenario.
  4. they obviously have worse problems and not shaking up this excuse for a 500 million dollar team is the dumbest and most pathetic move. blood being shed will hopefully send the message that he is willing to do something to curtail this trend of failure that has been prevalent since last august. doing nothing will only justify idiocy.
  5. fire stearns, hitting coach, mendoza or the peanut vendor.
  6. is stevie too proud to admit that too many mistakes have been made and by making changes he would be making that admission?
  7. spot on! they are still only prospects.
  8. the word pathetic does not even do justice to adequately describe this freefall. it appears to only be a continuation of last years debacles. i dont know whose sins we are paying for but i can only hope that we balance the books pretty soon.
  9. hopefully before midnight tonight.
  10. they are not going anywhere as long as mendoza is the manager. plain and simple. he is clueless in ny and is in over his head. in addition, stearns buys cheap and hopes for miracles which may work in small markets where the expectations are set much lower than ny. cohen has to start evaluating his choice with a much stricter eye.
  11. they are being paid a whole lot of money to make those trips and play a kid's game that makes us all enviable. the problem lies with mendoza who does not have to ability to motivate them which was proven by last years collapse. he just doesnt have what it takes. where is billy martin when we need him?
