  1. I didn't want to go through each season individually, so I asked both Grok and ChatGPT and they were both having a humdinger of a time coming up with an answer.
  2. Astoundingly, he's in his fourth year with the club. He was supposed to be a meaningful piece early on, but as it has just kept chugging along, he's quickly been replaced and become an afterthought. Whatever we get from him will be a boon. Average his 2023 and 2024 and you'll get his 2025: 90 G, 6 HR, 34 RBI, 20 SB, .258 BA.
  3. The season is Young, but I don't think Danny is going to be with them long.
  4. Good game by Peter Davidson.
  5. Some Torrens-tial output by the Mets catcher!!!
  6. I wasted a fantasy pick on that fella!
  7. The Mets traded him to the Phillies in early February.
  8. He was the guy the Mets traded for Jesse Winker.
  9. He's playing with the Hanshin Tigers in Japan now.
  10. He was optioned to AAA to start the year, but was quickly promoted on March 29 to fill in for an injured player.
  11. Jim Campbell died in December. https://www.belkfuneralhome.com/obituary/James-Campbell?fbclid=IwY2xjawJOLBNleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHSBbDi6JK5nD1QMkX1KCkukO36FN6qONZCRLoOjyRQ_xxyQsm3v1ZhTlgA_aem_2TpakoIyZVtZTm0ep4GCfA Who was Jim Campbell? James Robert Campbell (1943–2024) was an American professional baseball player who appeared in 13 Major League Baseball games for the St. Louis Cardinals in 1970 as a pinch hitter. A left-handed batter and right-handed thrower, he primarily played first base in the minor leagues, where he hit 127 home runs over 1,207 games. Born in Hartsville, South Carolina, he began his professional career in the Philadelphia Phillies' system in 1962. Campbell made his MLB debut on April 11, 1970, and recorded his first hit the following day against Hall of Famer Tom Seaver. His most notable moment came on April 14 when his pinch-hit single tied the game against the Montreal Expos. However, limited playing opportunities led to a brief stint in the majors, and he returned to the minor leagues after hitting .231 in 13 plate appearances. Traded to the Boston Red Sox in the 1970 offseason for Ducky Schofield, he played one final year at the Triple-A level before retiring from baseball.
  12. Who was Tommie Reynolds? Tommie Reynolds was a Major League Baseball outfielder who played for eight seasons with four teams, including both the Kansas City and Oakland Athletics, as well as the New York Mets, California Angels, and Milwaukee Brewers. Signed by the Kansas City Athletics as an amateur free agent in 1963, he had his most active seasons in 1965 and 1969, the latter seeing him hit .257 while playing alongside Rick Monday and Reggie Jackson in Oakland's outfield. A solid minor league hitter with a .302 average and 187 home runs over 13 seasons, he was twice selected in the Rule V Draft. Known for his versatility, Reynolds played left field and often served as a pinch hitter. His career highlights included multiple four-hit games, key home runs against All-Star pitchers, and a strong performance against top-tier talent, batting .424 against several All-Star pitchers. Over 513 MLB games, he collected 265 hits, 12 home runs, 87 RBIs, and a .226 batting average. After retiring, he coached for the Oakland Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals. He passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 83.
  13. He's pretty much going to do what Christian Scott did last year. Wow us early, then slowly get worse. Actually, I didn't realize Scott ended up doing as poorly as he did. I'm thinking 5-6 starts, 2-1 W-L, 3.50 ERA.
  14. Well that's a real kick in the teeth.
  15. Welcome aboard Hayden!!!11
  16. I'm calling it now. 2025 Mets: 0-162
  17. Time to earn that $25 million, Pete.
  18. Time to earn that $765 million, Juan.
