Endy with the Mets first hit of the game, a nice single thru the hole into right. Beltraan works an at bat and draws a walk. Nice at bat there Carlos. 1st and 2nd for Delgado. Is it to early to whip this out? (ahhhhh!*everyone averts their eyes) Nooooo--this>
I remember these like yesterday-- Can anyone find the Willie Mays/ basket catch one? I had that on my wall for weeks after I got it. Stark was a master of the charicature.
="Frayed Knot"]Milledge goes 1st to 3rd on a Pedro bunt. He was running on the play and just never stopped and beat erd baseman Blum back to the bag. Nice hustle play but it was kinda close and that's one of those 'yabettermakeit' plays - esp since there were two out at the time. He came in on Reyes's 1B which may not have scored him from 2nd. Sportsline has: Martinez sacrificed to catcher, Milledge to third. So I figured they were screwing up again- but they got it right. Thnks for the details.
