watching the Willie post game interview. he says he doesnt think the slide was interference. Something about baseball not being played aggressively anymore. I echo those sentiments in regards to that Ruiz/Giles incident last week, but Willie,......what slide were you watching? Guess a good manager always goes to bat for his boys.
we should all band together and write a book, all contributing chapters on certain times and memories in Met history. Hey, Id buy it. So thats a guarentee that it'll sell. Ill take the 73 Mets playoffs chapter. (or season if I end up having the most memories on that, but I was at the 73 playoffs and I remember em like yesterday) PS: someone else will have to organize and compile and edit and...u get what Im sayin.
now THAT was interference. (see IGT from game 1 for what I said) Shame on u Marlon- shame, shame, shame Anderson could have ran from 1st straight into right field and we were gonna tie that game. I hope in Oct Im NOT pointing back at any one game for any reason, but if I am, it'll be to this game. ARRRRRGHH
Okay--that was horrid-able. Ill take the silence about by jinx remark to speak volumns to me. If the worst happens here in Philly, I wont be able to live it down. And Ill do anything/everything in my imaginary powers to support my Mets. *lowers head and walks away. crap--here they are interviewing Chase, the last thing I wanted to see. *hurls

I thought it was a great take out slide and me and my brother ended up arguing about this. That slide - nowhere near a slide really - wasn't even close to legit. Ruiz is going to pay for that one each and every time he faces SD. I guess I dont know my baseball anymore. Cause not only could he reach the base, he was able to reach the other side of it. And at that point, it was his job to break up that DP. And yea--I just realized, b4 i even read this, that it was the Pads and not the Ms. But thats the thing about these Phils games i get--i dont really pay attention to em unless i hear some noise. Its like a baseball nightlight i have on.
im gonna start a poll-- is my coming here to enjoy,,,wait, strike that,,not enjoy, watch the game, with you guys possibly jinxin the Mets? Cuz Ill be getting all 4 of these games and Ill be coming here to watch em and... I gots to know.

Speaking of umping.. Did anyone see the take out slide in the Phils last series vs the Mariners? A double play grounder where Phils Ruiz took out M's Giles at 2nd base? Why do they think its such an important thing to speed games up? Why dont they think like I do: The longer a game lasts the more entertainment you are getting for the price of admission.... I dont understand this.. If a game goes 4 hours Im ecstatic. Im like woohooo---what a great investment of my time that was. 4 hours of baseball! *does a lil dance* on edit I changed all 3's to 4's cuz that would be even better
U GHHHH---Howard hits a liner that I thought was gonna take the outfield wall down. Double. I was just about to say I cant complain about what Lawrence is giving us tonight.. Glad i didnt cuz of my propensity to think I have this ability to jinx eveything. Chase and Ryan just lit him up--well... they are the two that hurt ya most. (i see ALOT of Phils games--its a wonder that I am still the biggest best Met fan down here in South Joysey- the way Ive been cut off from seeing em play. Guess thats what makes me the biggest and best tho)
