    Reyes 2 fer 2 now (single) but gets picked off first in the 3rd. Comeonnn guy! A base is a terrible thing to waste.

    Phils gettin rooked, 9-2 in the 6th. Boston LF Dan Nava slugs a grand salami on the 1st pitch he sees in the majors. 4th player in MLBistory to ever do that. Came up again his second time with bags full. The kid could have pulled off a strass. He K's. Does double in the gap next time up for a 2 for 3 start and this game ain't over yet.

    I recently read that the shark used in Jaws was found in a junk yard in California. You would think I have a joke here but.... ..I got nuthin. This is just my Jaws update that I send out once every ten years.

    The Dickster just over 70 pitches and is greeted by a Marky double to start the 6th. Phils down 12-1 in the 4th.Woot! On Edit: Not Wiggy. I hate reading games on-line. Cept here of course.

    I think showing bunt can be a great strat/maneuver if done at the right time. Like when you have already decided to take a pitch. Was it a strike?

    Alls I know about that Pagan bunt situation (probably was just looking at a pitch for Reyes) in the 1st inning of todays ball game is that Reyes should have stolen second base way before Davis was up and/or well into his at bat, if he was going to do it at all. I know that there were a ridiculous amount of throw overs to first, but I think it's bad baseball in that spot to run when there are 2 out and Davis has two strikes on him. Davis K'd. I don't wanna blame anyone in regards to this. But you can see who I would if I was gonna. Baseballs funny. It could have distracted the pitcher, the result being a fat pitch to Ike. It didn't. I think more so its possible it could have distracted Davis who had 2 strikes on him and needed all the focus he's got.
