  3. OHHHHH! It hits the bag! That would have been the most awsum play if we got the call! But Pelf clearly misses the bag. Man, he could have gotten hurt there. His arm was right in that pesky Moores flight path.
  4. Ronnie and Howie say the Met fans at the game have all to good seats. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO ALL YOU 'POOLERS THERE! HEYYYYoooOOO000! 6-3 Good Guys after 3 and a half.
  5. Cora's juicin' Wow, we are getting our Cora's worth. 13 RBI on 20 hits this season.
  6. Moore rips a single to lead off the O's second. Man, I hope Pelf settles down and keeps this his game.
  7. I guess we aren't gonna be getting many assists out of Mr. Bay. Oy, what an awful throw home. Well, that second one was alot better. Yea, we'll let em score a few.

  11. New York leadoff hitter Jose Reyes has 10 hits in his last 20 at-bats, and is 6 for 14 against Millwood. And he leads off with an infield single

Has this happened before? The closest I can come up with was the '69 Mets, who had Kranepool (platooned), Boswell, and Harrelson. Also, when Pelfrey or Neise are starting, then you have five home-grown Mets as starters (with an asterisk for Angel Pagan). I don't think that's the record, but it ties some other yearsL In 1969, it was almost six: Kranepool/Swoboda (both were platooned, so didn't regularly start the same game), Boswell, Harrelson, Jones and Seaver/Koosman/Gentry. Early in 2000, you had Alfonso, Agbayani, Peyton, Ordonez and Bobby Jones as regulars. 1982 had Backman, Brooks, Mookie, Gardenhire, and Craig Swan/Mike Scott. (John Stearns was drafted by the Phillies). Did any team have six players who were drafted by the Mets and only played for the Mets? So we have 6 home grown and 9 rooks? I'm trying to keep up over here.
  13. oo, and I said 93,lol. I meant 94. And kinda 95. So let me correct and reiterate. The oath of 939495.

  15. I really tried to make this happen but it didn't. This would mean breaking my oath of '93. Well, I have broken it a few times in the last 17 years. And mostly to go to that yard.
  16. That's right! Put the fear of God into em K-Rod!
