  5. Did I big purple that? Think we can comeback. I do. What's the point of thinking that we can't?
  6. I like to state the oblivious. Yep, GO PADRES!!!
  7. Ugh.Squeezed right outta the gate. I just read that Flores might be out for the season. Wtf? True? Nice play Duda.
  8. Same lineup as yesterday, no? How often has that happened since April? The exact players have appeared in the exact lineup spot as the previous game (spots 1-8, of course) just 11 times this season, 7 times since April and only 4 times since July 1. The last time was 9/14 @ Washington. Three identical lineups in a row has only happened once this season (April 19-22), though there was an off day between the second and third games. The Mets record while trotting out the same lineup as the previous game: 2-9 Awesome stuff. LGM!

Benjamin Grimm wrote: My left nostril thinks those cards are pretty cool, but the rest of my body thinks that this mass production of ten-dollar baseball cards is a scam and I wish I had a cut of it. That's the thing with these. If Topps sticks to their guns, and they better cause I know at least one person who will sue them if they don't, and these are printed according to demand, then these cards are not produced on a massive scale. This makes them very desirable to serious collectors. Unfortunately, only to serious collectors w/$$ to burn or rich kids, if kids even bother w/baseball cards these days. This card below, according to Topps only 188 were printed. Or maybe I should say distributed, because I doubt they shut down the press @188 on the bone. In any case, a serious Young collector (his mom probly bought 100 of em) might consider this card a prized possession in the players card collection. The $$ is the problem with these. They have decided that they'd rather sell a lesser amount of cards for more $$, as opposed to making them cost less so more people will buy them. And I imagine they are selling good enough that they don't give a rats ass what I think about the price and how they are screwing over the less fortunate. All this card cost me is about 40 minutes of my time. 12. Playoff gear, not too much into that, but anything Mets with the World Series logo on it, win or lose, I'll always grab a handful of that stuff. In the very least, a hat. The Mets were in the series last year. Something I'd proudly wear on my sleeve or anywhere.
  13. How did the Giants get to where they are with this pitching? 6-2 SD
  14. Posey drives in two. 3-2 Pads. 5th
