Everyone said they were overachieving (& we all knew they were) and would come back to earth during the 2nd half. I didn't expect it to happen in one fell swoop though, right out of the gate. Right now we are pretty much where I expected to be coming into the season.

    I've shifted out of "lets make the playoffs" mode. I'm now in "lets finish over 500." and "individual Met accomplishments" mode, and if we get our shit together and make another run it'll be a pleasant surprise. I'm not giving up. After all, this is baseball. Just shifting gears to keep my sanity.
