  1. Its still not even 10:30. Bottom of the eleventh. And Germens debut? Maybe I should step off again. BTW, thnx for keeping things in check guys. I read it was suspenseful.
  2. DAMN! HE ripped it too. I have to step off. Don't let anyone win or lose til I get back!
  3. A line single is also acceptable. The Capn FTW. This booin Dave over that HR derby bidness is silly. Esp since that Pirate is now going. It gives me the impression that the Pirates have stupid sheep like fans.
  4. Hey Murph, if you're gonna hit em in the air, hit em over the outfield fence.
  5. Nice hitting by Laggy. Way to go with the pitch.
  6. I'm not proud. I'll lift one from the web.
  7. W H E W I'm not used to getting out of predicaments like that.
  8. Sanchez is batting .230. Bring it to him Edgin.

Since a walk is not going to end the game and Alvarez is hitting .222 against lefties, there's a .778 chance they survive Alvarez. Unless he hits a fly ball. Then I have no idea. Thank you. I like those odds. And since Martin has been shit at the plate this season, and he's playing the Mets, what are the odds that he drives in the winning run?
  10. What r the odds we get outta this?
  11. Fuck! And I don't think that was misplayed in any way. Thats a big leadoff double.

Soft ground out there. I can't agree with you yet. But I'm getting very close. I feel Ike is our 1st baseman and Satin a backup. But I'm okay with a platoon there as we wait to see if Ike can rediscover Ike.
  13. 78 pitches for Hef. Pen could always use a rest at this point in the season. Maybe Terry feels that they have been sharp in the pen and he wants to keep em sharp. I dunno. I do think Hefner could have gone 9 w/no problem. Well, aside from possibly losing it.

I noticed that early on and just the other day I saw another Met player do it. Don't recall who. Obviously, this team is bonding. Ugh Valde. Go sit down.
  16. Ashie62 wrote: Very nice work... Thnx Ashie. Hefner looking good in the 7th. I may have to whip up a graphic just for extra inning games if they are going to play a hundred of em this season. Id prefer the Mets win this in regulation. Hmm, Hef pulled.
  17. I'll take one at a time. For the next three innings. But we have to hold em. Hef is pitching well. Bear down and hold em at 2 Jeremy.
  18. Swan Swan H wrote: Four innings done in less than an hour. Still 2-0 Pirates, Byrd leading off. Yea, wow, 6th inning already at 8:20. Young doubles with one out. Comeback time:)
  19. 7-2. 2 out. No chance we can blow this one, right?
  20. Come on guys. Looks like Kirk was calling loudly. No indication Young heard him.
