Wow. Watching the replay. Can you believe I lost the MLBtv feed just for like 30 seconds, and come back to Campbell in the dugout. Nice.
-
I feel we kinda need this one bad with Greinke going tomorrow. SO BREAK OUT THE LUMBER!!
-
Things going south for deGrom in the 6th. I'd like to blame the umps, but I can't. Curve right over the heart and its 3-0. See, the longer you wait, Mets offense, the worse it's gonna get.
-
Ugh, fuck. Puig. Wow, he hammered that. Okay, now you have to get at least three runs Mets offense.
-
Two sides to that shitty ump stick.
-
If they don't get this kid some runs it'll be a sin.
-
He has all our pitcher hits. Amazin'.

I thought I heard the booth calling him Hernandez more than once. These days I see more shitty umps than not, and that sucks too.

Centeno...that's what catchers do. Take note. Great throw by Recker catches a silly Hanley.
-
He K's. Pretty weak.
-
Bases loaded for Grandy, 2 out.
-
DeGrom's a dart thrower. I like this guy. YEA! Thats what we needed. Line-drive DP.

Edgy MD wrote: It was. It could have been an inch more onto the hands, but... Gonzales is guessing right these days. That was one incredibly quick bat to turn on that pitch. I like Campbell in there (f-8). Might as well spell Duda now, I guess. But I'm hoping to see Duda get going and it's not easy when he's not in the lineup. Edgy MD wrote: Angel Hernandez strikes. The weirdest strikes in baseball. He sucks. How do bad umps get to keep their jobs?

Damn. Gonzo gone. I thought that was a good pitch.

Muffy all squeaky clean and shaved. Ropes a single over short. If it wasn't for Murphy, watching this team would be unbearable.

Swingin at shit Laggy.

DeGrom with nice first, 1-2-3. Puig will always scare me everytime up for the rest of his career. Unless he becomes a Met someday. Was that Recker back there? SCHWING! 0-_ Mets

On the plus side... USA Network: Modern Family (TV-PG): Gloria insists on a night of salsa dancing with Jay; Cameron goes too far when Mitchell and a friend challenge him to get a hot woman's (Leslie Mann) number; Phil builds a tree house. Sounds like a good one! I coulda been watchin Fargo. Hey, I like the Grandy/Duda outburst. It's nice to see an inning like that. Now if we can get Wright to just play par and Murph to not get un-hot we may be able to roll a lil bit. Both killed us tonight.

Obviously, not in that spot though. Valverde does his job. We've used 6 pitchers.
-
Just his work behind the plate though. I'm okay with his slapdashary hitting.

LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr wrote: Well, but who comes in for Centeno? You can't use Recker, because you want to save him, in case something happens to Centeno*. *It makes about as much sense as the you-can't-use-your-backup-catcher-to-pinch-hit trope. Then you need a 3rd catcher. If d' is gonna be slow recovering from his bump on the head, which is worrisome to hear, we gotta be adjusting to these things on the fly. And Juan on leave had opened a spot? Do I understand that right? You're right tho, here. I'm just really down on Centeno.
