TC is set in his thinking that he needs a bridge to the 8th inning. That is to say he refuses to use his 8th inning guy any earlier, and I suppose that 2 innings from that 8th inning guy is out of the question. He has to re-think that. -

I don't know what you mean by a money making opportunity. Great article. I love obscure collections like that. I have a bunch of Piazza's but they are all Dodger rookie cards (& of course his Mets cards). Even got his O-Pee-Chee rook. I don't have even one card of him on the Fish (unless it's lost in a card box somewhere).

The catch tonight gets Lags outta my doghouse. That infield single don't hurt either. Duan, I love ya, but that's crazy talk. Johnson before Uribe. Cuddy be4 Uribe even (I know,$$$). IMO Uribe has more to do with our met-amorphosis than Cespedes. But there is the point of where does he play besides 3rd. I'd throw Kelly under the bus. Tomorrow it might be someone different. ha. This is going to be a tough call.

If it's really crunch time like TC says, Lagares goes down, regardless of who's feelings get hurt. This years model is sorely lacking and expendable until Sept call-ups.

Just as he was rounding third he got the green light and you could see he kicked it up a notch. So Flores does have a third gear, one that I have not seen until most recently. If I'm gonna rag on his running I'm going to have to be fair and say great running there Wilma.

Did Lagares let up on that? His first step was in but I still thought he could have caught up with that one. And I have never seen him give up on a fly no matter what. I don't think last years model is available anymore.

That wacky bounce off the wall could not be anticipated. Last year Lags would have gotten leather under that before it hit the ground.
