  2. Do we get Fkn frd or Funky Frd?
  3. As usual I went overboard. But those are all real records. What an amazin' opening month. http://metsfantasycards.blogspot.com/2016/05/mfc-breaks-out-2016-mets-record.html [fimg=400]https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-HtccDAvYtk8/VyaL9pyyuHI/AAAAAAAAnEA/x_kY8HBFk8o674tvExE9DWpfbMTwMvN2ACCo/s800/2016mfcRB-208KsApril-z16.png[/fimg]
  4. ^Awesome, thank you. Freeman's still in a funk, isn't he? This series I wanna see Funkin' Frdy Frmn.
  5. >208 strikeouts in April. I don't know the old mark.
  6. Well if we won them all I'd be impossible to deal with. I'm not really all that sad. We took the series.
  7. Y'know, if all a manager who has already spent his replay challenge needs to do to get another one is simply ask the umps to do one anyway, then they might as well throw out the so-called one challenge limit and just review every single play. Sure the games will now be 5-1/2 hours instead of 3-1/2 but they'll get every play right* and that's what everyone seems to want! * except for the ones they won't I totally agree. The manager should not be allowed to approach the ump in this situation. He could yell from the dugout but he shouldn't be able to just waltz out there. Or, here's a novel thought: actually stick to the one-incorrect challenge rule and then managers wouldn't be so quick to challenge every out/safe by-a-hair play in the 1st inning. As things stands now, challenging every nit-picky call at any point in any game has become almost an automatic for skippers this season as they obviously feel there's no downside to it. I agree. We both brought this up before the season even began. Posey's a pansy.

  11. He should have played it out.

  14. Ugh. Get away from my player ump. Don't be engaging, thankyouverymuch. Ump sucks
  15. Good nuff. Walks as good as anything vs Bumm.
  16. Cambell you can be BIG.

I think he'll grow into an excellent catcher & hitter. I wouldn't discard Travis so soon. That's rude. Sure, but folks need a whipping boy, and there's a drumbeat out there to make him the guy. That's the article I saw. I didn't bother to read it. People are strange.

If you know of any records we tied or broke in this opening month please add them here. I'll start with some that Gary brought up last night. > 12 runs in one inning. > Cespedes drives in 6 in one inning. >194 strikeouts in the first 20 games. > 30 Home runs in first 20 games.
  24. ^niiiiiice.
