  3. Id settle for just removing the Looper bloopers from the equation. 6 blown saves that have made a huge difference mathamatically and psychologically.
  4. Frayed Knot wrote: This has not been a good year for Looper. you are being too kind. He just hurls the ball. He dont pitch
  5. unFUCKINbelievable! LOOPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR YOU SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK how could you just toss balls over the plate?????????? J H CRHRIST! (< not you Bret, the real one)
  6. seawolf17 wrote: Is Mole's TV on some sort of reverse delay, where he sees things before they happen? i hope so.
  7. Looper induces the pop up. I almost cant watch. I just cant take Looper anymore. How do you serve a pitch like that up to Francouer. That guy can hit anyones heat, no less right over the plate.
  8. if Looper blows this, I will go mad..... FRANCOUER DOUBLES TO START THE 9TH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  9. throw another breaking ball....DONT SHOW HIM THE FAST BALL again. Gets him to fly out. Good job old man
  10. Hernandez is big here. he must shut em down. Must get A Jones
  11. cooby wrote: I have all the Mets starters except Trachsel, plus I have Looper and Zambrano, Piazza, Castro, Mienkiewicz, Reyes, Wright, Floyd and Diaz. I had Cameron but dropped him of course. Piazza is on reserve and I am thinking of dropping him, I don't look to see him back. cripe, i forgot, I had him too. Dropped him after the 'face off' with Carlos.
  12. ......complications. Glavine walks Chipper. Willies gonna pull him.
  13. Valadius wrote: What the hell are you talking about? How could you call him a crybaby when he was out there busting his ass on a bad Achilles every goddamn day? I suppose I was being a bit harsh with the crying part. His struggling tendon aside, he had not given us what we needed from a left fielder. Suffice to say that he has disappointed me up until this season. And his hard work this year has changed my opinion of him, to his credit. I like to see a player play to his full potential.
  14. cooby wrote: That's why all my starting pitchers are either Mets or American Leaguers I tried to make this happen. During the draft and over the season. Between both teams i have Reyes Wright Benson Piazza(backing up Pudge Rod) Glavine(had him, dropped him b4 the AS break, duh)
  15. Beltran!!!!!!!!!! whatRyaDOIN!? thrown out trying to steal 3rd with WRIGHT UP!
  16. seawolf17 wrote: I'll take one more insurance run here... but I'd still like a complete game (loss) from Hud for fantasy league purposes. isnt it tuff when you have a fantasy pitcher goin against the Mets? I have Smoltz on one a my teams. Floyd walks. 1 & 2nd no out...Wright at the plate
  17. 1 out single for beltran. An insurance run would be HUGE here.
  18. seawolf17 wrote: YEAH letting Hudson hit. Big fan of that move. lmao Tom gets out of that jam.... Glavine is gettin the calls. Pitchin his game. Up to 92 pitches, but i dont really think that matters much with a pitcher like Glav who dont throw heat. he can go nine, or at least get it to Looper (Id rather see him go 9 if there are no complications)
  19. cooby wrote: ="Zvon"]you skipped the part where furcal scored, but thats kool. Well that's true. He cheated too! lol. Nice catch by Beltran. Was that Jones single fair? damn, that was close. Cliff hustle keeps it to a single. (its the 7th inning and i just found out now the games on ESPN2 here---DUH!)
  20. you skipped the part where furcal scored, but thats kool. I must tho,.... Braves playin small ball too, single, sac, single and its 2-1 Mets. Mets strand Floyd. The Mets really should give Glav some run support.... (lol, the way i say that it sounds like they are chosing not too)
  21. Frayed Knot wrote: ]did Willie really say this about Castro to the media? Why dont managers consider talking directly to a player anymore and keep stuff like that private and in the clubhouse? Not really a big deal as far as I'm concerned. It's a minor tweak and he said he's talked to Castro about it in the past (as I mentioned in an earlier post this is not the first time I've heard it). Sometimes younger, less-established players are reluctant to act as if giving orders to older more-established types, even when it's called for. yea, I can see this. I just cant STAND a manager who plays the media before the team, and I get snappy when I think Willie might have don that. Cripes, its a tuff gig to manage the Mets. Whoever you are. Any big market team these days. All those mics in your face, all lookin for a story or a way to spin one.
  22. Frayed Knot wrote: - Willie reiterated that Castro is sometimes not as assertive as he could be ... maybe from still having a backup's mentality Willie also said that Kaz claimed to have lost the handle on the ball on that potential GiDP did Willie really say this about Castro to the media? Why dont managers consider talking directly to a player anymore and keep stuff like that private and in the clubhouse? Did he literally use the word 'claim' in re: to Matsui?
  23. when i see Galvine have a smooth 1st inning, i figure we are gonna see a smooth pitching performance for the night. He did let francouer get to him with the double, but no further. And francouer has been hitting everybody. Glavine looks very good.(reads very good, i should say) Throw those vs. Braves stats out the window. (If i jinx him with that, I ban myself for the next 3 days)
