After all that talk about having Diaz fill the 2 spot while Matsui is out, and batting Hernandez 8th, Willie has Cairo playin 2nd and batting 2nd. You cant call that an experiment, Willie.

why not? Im sure Piazza will be given an off day over the remainder of the season. Sure, lets see Jacobs bearing the tools of ingnorance.( I would think Willies logic might be he dont want to get Jacobs hurt unecessarily. He hasnt played there for a while, I believe. Last day of the season,.....he can start behind the plate....relief pitcher Hernandez can come in for the 6th,...and then Piazza for the 7th and 8th, so we can all wave G'bye to him.****sob* (has anyone else read or heard about Piazza saying he is willing to stay on with the Mets next season and play a lesser role?)

Reyes steals and makes the Braves look like a little league team. Diaz strands him at 3rd. 54 stolen bases for Reyes. wow, that sure is something.
