When I was at S pring training wandering around on the field and the backfields most of the guys were just standing around, while he was talking to all sorts of different people, told someone with the Mets that the stuff they'd discussed would be on the morning roundup thingy monday or tuesday, and then moved on and was talking to others. I think he's completely lost in regards to his opinion about what is and will happen with the team, but he's certainly the hardest working and gets the most info.

Wilpon basically hedges his bets there and says it's up to Alderson. I don't take him throwing numbers like 100million out there any more seriously than I take his evaluation of players seriously. which is, not at all. Also, his legs are far from his biggest asset. I'd put his swing, his power, and his arm/defense all above the occasional 2B->3B or a bunch of stolen bases.

Stupid Phillies score a ton even without Utley contributing. Hopefully they get it out of their system, cause they're going to get drubbed this weekend. Yankees lose, from what I understand Jose Bautista is awesome and walking two guys intentionally in one inning is bad. Red Sox just blew a 2-1 lead that would've given them the division lead. 3-2 now with the Sox batting with 1 out and 1 on in the top of the 9th. Now first and third, one out. Drew and Jed (first HR at Citi Field) Lowrie with singles. Pedroia left this game, but I'm not sure why. Crawford up. Homered already today.

yeah, I don't know how you judge air streams. I mean,beyond the obvious ones. If you hit the ball two high in Citi Field in April, oh my the swirls! Oddly it sorta resembles what people describe Candlestick as. There's an homage to the Giants in a roundabout way? It does seem the ball carries a little to the left and right of the bleacher sections where it's a little more open, but who knows. I remember someone blaming the old stadium still being up for part of it, although i'm not sure how.
