    Will the Wilpons let Sandy play the hand he has in mind. He will need the 100 million payroll to move along.. The players on the 40 man as it stand will not get the Mets to the promised land.. I am disappointed in Wheeler...He seems to be all ankles and elbows....

    Wouldn't Sandy know himself now how much of the money that has come off the books will be reinvested in players? The rest of us can only speculate... I kinda laughed when I saw someone upset that the Mets were having to eat Sean Atchison's 700K salary..

    OK, we have had a good look at Zack Wheeler and... he is not really ready for primetime yet... 1. Not enought command or use of heater 2. Two different velocity off speed picthes but same mechanics on both..batter up! 3. Simply put..throw more strikes. 4. Needs to learn to hold baserunners 5. Very Green and yes I know he is young.
