Manaea throws a little bit high

I don't know that changing a winning lineup this much is the best idea but who am I The Mets could use a rally cry soon like Ya Gotta Believe or something The Tigers have been struggling terribly and are now turning it around so there is precedent

Maybe yesterday's showcase win is the harbinger of better things to come, like tonight

It is supposed to cool off by 8 o'clock or so No Apple TV here LGM

I don't think Stearns is going anywhere but I might question his hiring

I don't see that there is any real accountability in this organization Soto is one lazy mofo and his tenure here is not going to end well imho I said a long time ago that it did not look good that he was on his fourth organization already. The most common response was that no one could financially afford Soto, except the lucky Mets

Mets down 14-0 in about 14 innings

Stearns is such a prick that he is hanging Mendoza out to dry for one reason, to keep the fingers from pointing at himself
  12. ashie62
Watching this half inning then going on to the real game in town tonight
  13. ashie62
    Booo

The stadium looks kinda empty for a promo night even on a Wednesday If the Mets are going to go through the motions and the early returns tonight suggest it may be so I have to reevaluate valuate my viewing options.

I referenced Shirley Manson earlier lol Can the Mets score two? Tune in!
  16. ashie62
And 2 runs for St Louis
  17. ashie62
Cards have two on who no outs, so it begins

I was thinking of Shirley Mansons' lyrics on "When I Grow Up" for the band Garbage around 2000 It's a festive atmosphere at Citified tonight. C'mon Mets give everyone a show!

That's a decent Mets lineup and Francisco Lindor's return is close at hand There may a rain delay or two. Golden Showers are forecast
  20. ashie62
The Mets damn well need to win tonight and presumptively tomorrow It's not a good idea to keep up with the Jones' but it is a good idea to keep up with the Cardinals LGM
  21. ashie62
Kai Correa is highly thought of. I believe he was interim manager for three games previously so why not? They might not want to be because it would be awkward in the spring if Correa is no longer the guy in charge
  22. ashie62
My take also. Cardinals are looking forward and playing hard The Mets seem openly unprepared to give it their efforts to win a baseball game This season may or may not end well but the optics are crushing. If they're not listening to Mendy then make a change It's more of an indictment of management that they haven't made that change

This sucks. Seinfeld is on somewhere
  24. ashie62

  25. ashie62
