Huge attention was paid to a flight tracker route from southern California to Toronto This "may" have led to some outlets being premature with the Ohtani to the Blue Jays Canadian Robert Herjavic, shark tank dude, was flying home The Mets have checked on Ohtani I expect them to sign Ohtani and Yamamoto, today

I thought the Mets were looking to spend money prudently Not sure if this signing plays to that Domingo German is the drunk Yankee Not sure if Deivi Garcia plays into any of this

Edgy MD wrote: "We're so proud to represent the people of Las Vegas, and look forward to sending our best talent to the Yankees, in the great tradition of the Philadelphia, Kansas City, and Oakland Athletics." They did best the Mets in 1973

Carlos Mendoza is introduced and seems like a decent guy Saying the right things about culture and preparation Personally, I feel most managers these days are pulled from a cookie cutter and report to the analytics guys on day one

Mendoza will do what the numbers guys tell him to do Has watched Boone do it daily and knows the drill I saw something in Sports Illustrated speculating about Mets interest in 3B Matt Chapman Writer didn't really have a source (his own mind I guess) but I can see where Baty and maybe to a lesser extent Vientos may not have much of a future here. Time will tell
