  1. Hmmm. Diaz looking vulnerable.
  2. Another village stranded. Cue the trumpets.
  3. =Fman99 post_id=105357 time=1661477676 user_id=86] I'm about done watching Baty flail around up there while Vientos continues to murder AAA pitching.
  4. Whew. Can we get some more runs, please? This is tighter than it should be.
  5. Benjamin Grimm wrote: Mets need to fatten up here, obviously. They need to go Full Vogelbach.
  6. =Marshmallowmilkshake post_id=105238 time=1661367055 user_id=119] That visit to Minneapolis could be fun. A weekend, too! We have a great time at Target Field last year. Definitely one of the best parks I've been to!
  7. Well, they need to kick ass on the Rockies, while the Cardinals kick Atlanta ass. Given the matchups, if they're out of first place at the end of the weekend, then they don't deserve to be there.
  8. This bullpen is just an exercise in frustration, Diaz excepted.
  9. Edgy MD wrote: Frayed Knot wrote: Having Gelbs give both the pre-game odds and the updated in-game odds should be beneath SNY. Apparently it isn't. All the more reason MLB needs regulatory oversight. Notice how Gary used to do the odds but sounded like he was being made to eat his vegetables? He doesn't do the odds anymore; I wonder if he said he didn't want to do it.
  10. Baty was out by 20 feet. Short right field at work.
  11. They let Montas off the hook early, and now it's biting them.
  12. Never thought I'd be so glad to see Tomas Nido back. Baty's a nice story, but he may need a bit more seasoning. Not sure platooning him with Escobar is the right way to go, not that Escobar's any world-beater himself this year.
  13. Max was never right in this game, from the very start. He gutted it out, but I expect more for Uncle Steve's $43 million.
  14. Warning track fly ball at Citi.
  15. Can we put McCann on the injured list for General Ineptitude?
  16. I would think Mr Canha woud drink deeply. I know it's the pattern to send a guy down or DFA him after these things, but I'd like Nate Fisher to stick around in the bigs for a bit, as a reward for a job well done.
  17. Mrs. Lefty said afterwards, "I'm not sleeping tonight. That was too stressful."
  18. Early in the game, Ronnie said "This has the feel of a 10-9 game" and it turned out to be..................a 10-9 game.
  19. =bmfc1 post_id=104890 time=1661120031 user_id=73] Anonymous minor-league pitcher throws 3 shutout innings while the big-$ RP can't get through one batter.
  20. I just don't understand why May is still used in critical situations. He's got great stuff but can't locate it and inevitably grooves one because he can't put batters away. The Segura at-bat is the perfect example.
