    Marte Parte!

Bases loaded, no outs. This situation has generally not been kind to the Mets.

    Wow. Just wow.
  4. Lefty Specialist
Not comfortable yet. But Manaea is dealing.

I'm guessing Mr. Winker will get a ball under his chin next at-bat. He admired that one a little too long.

What made that play was that Taylor barehanded it off the wall. The announcers ignored that.

Agreed with Diaz needing a day off. And Mendoza needs to stop using him for multiple innings- it's not working.

That incredible home run notwithstanding, I would not be heartbroken if Pete signed with a team outside the division. I think he (and Boras) will be looking for too many years at too much money. JMO, YMMV.

Flurb. Splitting in Philly is okay but I really thought they could pull this one out. Have to remember to let the other team score first.

Was at the Pratt game, and 53,000 people holding their breath and then exploding is one of the most amazing things I've experienced live. Even Gary Cohen hesitated for a split second on the radio call.

    This. Is. Fun.

    One out to go.

He bobbled the ball on the tag. And Stanek on for the 9th. Let's go Metsies.
  15. Lefty Specialist
    Whew. 3 outs to get.
  16. Lefty Specialist
8th and 9th inning Mets are fun Mets.
  17. Lefty Specialist
    I am frozen in place.
  18. Lefty Specialist
Okay, let's keep this rolling, Metsies!

Golf clap for Garrett. Now score off THEIR bullpen.
  20. Lefty Specialist
    Or not.
  21. Lefty Specialist
Garrett with a clean inning, which is always a surprise.
  22. Lefty Specialist
And yet Peterson doesn't get the call on a better pitch.
  23. Lefty Specialist
Yeah, Wheeler's throwing well enough, he doesn't need help from the ump.
  24. Lefty Specialist
Well at leas they made him work a little more that inning.
  25. Lefty Specialist
    That was a bomb.
