  1. I have actually noticed that at night, my gray cats are harder to spot than my other ones. I just thought it meant that.
  2. I think it means all cats are grey at night. It does, although the usual interpretation of that phrase has a pejorative connotation for older women, unlike the runners I call uniformly "safe." For some reason. the phrase is often rendered in French, though Benjamin Franklin is credited (by some) for originating it (in English.) Classier in French, but still insulting to women. Hanh? I thought Edgy made it up
  3. It does seem a little better though

  6. I have seen that one too. Sometimes when I have tried to log in for the first time in hours. I don't stay logged in here. Too many "visitors". Nice to know you guys.
  7. Those two games in Tokyo were stupid; we had to scramble to do our fantasy draft and now wait 10 days for more games.
  8. Connections is the word game with sometimes odd ways to connect four words! And sometimes it's something similar…like changing one letter to get an animal name or something
  9. I'll play around with Mets' names. Yesterday for example I noticed how many players these days have first names for last names and vice versa, or at least names that can be easily reversed. "Marty Starling" is the most obvious example, and I can easily imagine a player known as "Alonso Peters" or "Lindy Francisco." "Neil McJeffries." "Gil McTylor." Today, I'm re-imagining former Mets by switching up one letter from their first names with one letter from their last names. So "Roy Tanlor" and "Dan Cordwell" and "Tag McGruw" from the 1969 squad. Am I bored or just deprived of MLB for too long? You don't happen to construct Connections for a living do you?
  10. Somehow I saw the twist you mentioned coming, so I wasn’t surprised 🙂 I thought most of the main characters were very well acted I gave it four
