  1. It’s so nice to have a doctor around :) yes my pain is definitely not the result of a serious injury. All I’ve done lately is gardening 👩‍🌾
  2. I’ve been nursing a very sore knee and calf the last few days and was actually using my moms walker yesterday 😬 All this two, three weeks recovery stuff was scaring the shit out of me but my doctor gave me a prescription for prednisone and I’ve taken three doses and feel like a half million bucks this morning. Hopefully Lindor’s doctor has heard of it.
  3. They are doing a ton of cool stuff in Pittsburgh to get ready. glad the weather is favorable whoever gets drafted #57 is winning a lifetime supply of ketchup!
  4. And it sounds like their fans are happy about it
  5. Hahaha FK is NOT watching the draft. Yes this should make Scott feel a lot less pressure
  6. Hate to say it but I’m glad it’s not just us.
  7. Don’t…think of it as sensitive to his issues
  8. That is my recollection too
  9. Hopefully today is warmer. I remember in 1986 when the Mets just wanted to clinch and get it over with but they went into a skid, Tim McCarver said ‘The Mets are bleeding right now’ and they started winning again. The Mets Are Bleeding Right Now! now go win!
  10. Two IGTs might bring them luck!
  11. This would be as good of a day as any to win a game! Mets I mean
  12. If the Mets sold those sweet overall shorts I still wouldn’t buy them
  13. That's not going to make any difference. Well, not enough.
  14. Yeah, that's Salami
  15. I have a question...remember I don't see this team play and I am pretty unfamiliar with practically the entire lineup. Is there someone we are waiting for that is on IL or something that is going to turn things around? I remember Rusty getting hurt or John Milner and it really made a difference when they came back but i don't know this team anymore.
  16. I guess the saddest part is that we hoped the road trip would end their losing, because now we’re hoping that a home stand will end their losing
  17. Yeah, the Pirates have been fun to watch and it's sad that the division is so close because they've worked very hard to keep competitive after being so, well, sucky for so long.
  18. Holy heck this thread's been moved already so nobody Holy heck this thread has been moved already so nobody will see this. Oh well, just in case... My brother and I played 25 or 6 to 4 constantly. Eventually, the very last note, a loooonnnng trumpet blast, got a skip in it. So, the very long trumpet blast would go on virtually forever. We'd be helpless on the floor laughing until one of us would eventually get up and move the needle and put the poor trumpet player out of his misery....
  19. After a rain delay the Pirates pulled Skenes, who was doing just fine of course, and put in a just called up reliever who promptly pooped the bed.
  20. The whole My Girl thing has always puzzled me about Lindor. And I do like the Temps. And Lindor. And doesn’t he have another odd song?
  21. Thank you! They do count just as much and I tire of hearing ‘oh it’s early’
