Joe musgrove lubricates his ears, doesn't he? They look like shiny plastic. He's totally an ear lube guy. [FIMG=400]https://di2ponv0v5otw.cloudfront.net/posts/2018/12/03/5c05f2329fe48693163c56c0/m_5c05f2569519967e05d74173.jpg[/FIMG]
Edgy, that's really fucked up Well, at least you're reading and not just serial dumping. [FIMG=450]http://www.insidetheparkcollectibles.com/ItemImages/000020/20121b_lg.jpeg[/FIMG]
Soto did that Derek Jeter bullshit hold-up-your-hand-to-the-ump-while-you-dig-a-sexy-groove-in-the-batter's-box thing when he was with the Nats. Now he's kinda worse.
Very mbtn.net experience for me, here, seeing Bassitt out there pitching the deciding game in 40, and mentally seeing Bartolo Colón, Jeff Innis, and Pat Zachry with him. Ambiorix Burgos, not so much.
omg how cute is that? On a scale of 0 (no post-season Met daughter cuteness whatsoever) to 100 (Dakota Wendell), it's ... off the charts. It's at least 110, no? Not knocking Dakota here, but I think the bar has been re-set.

My personal preference is for Pete Alonso to go out and hit his first post-season homerun for the game-winning RBI. And that preference has been granted. That's one post-season homer more than Jordan, Taylor, and Grote put together, but still one behind Gibson. I hope Alonso has twice as much fun today.

Got to say the Citi Field PA system sounded louder on the the TV last night. [media=youtube]piF-ObPhQPc[/media] I couldn't figure out what situation was triggering the riff.

Curious: for comparable money, do you suspect he thinks "Get me the fuck away from these non-supporting teammates and these horrible memories" or "I like it here and the run support can only get better if I stay"? I can only guess. We'll see soon enough.
It was amazin'. It wasn't something I felt comfortable thinking about, but not only was the end of the season on the line, but there was a meaningful chance that it was deGrom's last game as a Met.
