  1. Soft liners get the job done. [fimg=500]https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/9LQAAOSw6KRhfZvB/s-l1600.jpg[/fimg]
  2. Really happy to see Megill out there in the sixth, but I'm expecting he'll get yanked after a single baserunner.
  3. Got more swings and misses than Diaz & Meyers!!
  4. He's hanging in there. I feel like he landed three strikeout pitches to Diaz before he finally went down.
  5. Megill was not laying down the deffest rhymes there.
  6. It wasn't easy. The goons working the door wouldn't let her in.
  7. Grimace will never disappear. Mark Vientos agrees.
  8. Man, the Mets are really good when the Astros give them seven outs in an inning.
  9. Now we crash through walls, cut through floors!! Bust through ceilings and knock down doors!!
  10. Scoreless in the first, Mets coming up.
  11. Awesome photo from his Times obit. https://static01.nyt.com/images/2024/04/09/obituaries/08grote-print1/08grote-googleFourByThree.jpg>

  13. I'm not really proud of my work up there, but apparently, the Mets are just slap-dashing it. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GRPlzwYWIAA_FrU?format=jpg&name=medium>
  14. I'm certain they won't be hidden by the team.
  15. IN THREE GAME SWEEPS, I PLAY FOR KEEPS! BACKPICK THAT RUNNER WHILE HE SLEEPS!! HIT LIKE MIKEY!! THROW LIKE MOLINA! I'M NO PRIVATE DANCER AND MY NAME'S NOT TINA!!!
  16. https://metsrostercentral.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/memorial-2.png> Not the execution I'd have hoped for, but I was working quickly. This tends to mean a lot more to me than retired numbers.
  17. That's aces!! From Queens come kings!
  18. The first great home-born San Francisco Giant, arriving the first season after they moved west and a year before McCovey, winning Rookie of the Year. What a heart of the order with him, Mays, and McCovey, but the Giants couldn't make it work because he and McCovey both fit best at first, and even if they did succeed in hiding one in left, they kept producing guys who were really good in the outfield, many of them named Alou. His father was a great player too, but the integration came too late for him to show his stuff in MLB.
  19. Boooo! Keep traveling!!!
