Nope, it's Otto.

And we head to the bottom of the ninth, still up 8-3. Possibly Brazobán time.

Amazingly, the Diamondbacks have made it to one out in the ninth while using only two pitchers.

Well, two snakehomers in the seventh make it 8-3.

Now through six. One hit, no walks, 10 strikeouts. Amazin'.

Whoah, that's living dangerously but faithfully. Manaea looks hard to even touch, but he's through five on 74 pitches, with eight strikeouts, no walks, and only one hit.

With 12 batters to the plate that inning, and six of them scoring, they're going. Now we've got to see if Manaea stiffened up during the long layover.

Diamantes sweating through these banana-colored unis is not a pretty sight. Even the hats look soaked through.

You missed five straight hits for the Mets. And an infield hit by J.D. Martinez (?!) knocks Pfaadt ouudt early.

Arizona pitching coach and 1972 Met watching his pitcher getting beat around. Y'all are missing some sweet snakehunting. Fast infield here in Arizona and the Mets are getting the ball through.

Two leadoff doubles in two innings, but Álvarez, thumb and all, plates the runner this time.

And it looks like Álvarez may have re-injured his hand, but he's toughing it out.

Anybody tuning in? Vientos missed a pfaadt pitch with a runner at second and no outs, but the Mets still lead 2-0.

Twenty twenty-three Rookie of the Year Corbin Carroll apparently forgot who he was coming out of camp, and has been recovering his memory, slowly but steadily, as the season has progressed. NEW YORK COMMUTER STUCK ON GCP: "🎵🎶 DON'T! STOP! Thinking about tomorrow! 🎵🎶 This isn't moving at all this morning. Maybe the LIE is faster ... Hey, it's 7:57! I can always tune over to 880 for traffic and weather together on the ... FUCK!!"

Third Met to win the award this season. The Dodgers lead with four, including Shohei Ohtani twice.

Who has he sat inappropriately?

They're all flawed, this year more than most. It comes down to who is playing their best baseball at the right time.

Does Booty return to start the bottom of the eighth?

=metirish post_id=167583 time=1724624577 user_id=72] Francisco is just playing with all his tools ,amazing to watch

Schildt's head is gonna blow.

They'd have a run here if Machado had run out of the box.

With runners on, here, I figured we'd get Nuñez instead of Booty.
