Mets=#4080FF]MarlinsTejada, ssMurphy, 2bWright, 3bDavis, 1bHairston, rfDuda, lfShoppach, cTorres, cfHefner, spPetersen, lfHernandez, cfReyes, ssStanton, rfLee, 1bSolano, 2bBuck, cVelazquez, 3bKoehler, sp Wright expected to leave the game early, according to Terry. Not on the Forever Plan, like Reyes, I would hope. Seems like Hairston's started the last two weeks straight.

I think it'll be shorter than most. Lots of pitchers doesn't necessarily make a game longer. Lots of mid-inning pitching changes does. I'm not sure that's the plan.
  6. Edgy MD
That probably won't happen, as I think most folks only look at relievers in the absence of any 20-game winners, but stealing a few votes could certainly make him a spoiler. I imagine a strong start by Kimbrel gets him pulled early.

I hate that lady. But I'm with her today. C'mon...Mets.

irish calls Kilimanjaro a hill. Hard. Core. That'll be three fifths of our rotation coming off surgery or disability at the start of 2013, making for a lot of work in Ray Ramirez's office. Niese and Harvey apparently escaped the season whole, but they still have the offseason to get themselves banged up. Good luck, boys!

Trade for Justin and sign B.J., hmmm?

Someday, players will routinely and publicly speak of YSIII of "That Joke of a Ballpark."

  12. Edgy MD
Ah, booo! We totally have the bullpen to outlast these failed upstarts.

  23. Edgy MD
Or a walk. Or a catcher's interference call or something. Acosta replaces Dickish in the bottom of the seventh.
  24. Edgy MD
That's it for Dickimundo, it looks like... and NO! Terry leaves him in. Good. Fuck that 88-pitch hook.

Dickey gets strikeout number 230 but gives up run number three after three straight two-out hits.
