  1. Teagarden will catch. He's the last hitter on the bench.
  2. Well, don't be so surprised, Anthony. Angel Hernandez has to be Angel Hernandez. Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly, Angel has to blow calls just to keep the world interesting.
  3. I don't walk Grandy here. He's hurting in the rain out there. I sure don't trust him to beat out the double play.
  4. This is some alignment.
  5. Gutsy to steal on a wet field, Dave.
  6. Jim Malone walking around the Mets' dugout in a tee-shirt showing off his guns.
  7. I take it back. I see George Bamberger back there scoring the game.
  8. Weird watching a game with zero people behind home plate. The crowd IS making some noise, wherever they are.
  9. Dude is showing the umps the radar on his iPhone? Really?
  10. Mets have the sweetest little girl in the world sitting down the third-base line.
  11. Sooo, we out another closer?
  12. Camp Bell not getting it done tonight.

  14. Can't believe somebody intentionally came in on Recker. He's been trying to pull the slider away all night.
  15. Weeks was fatter when we played the Brews last year.
  16. Wounded Grandy and Taylor Teagarden left on the bench.
  17. We need Darryl to suit up and hit one into a clock.
  18. Well, that's something. I disagree that it saved the game, though. Getting Lucas home from first ain't that easy.
  19. Chris Young, you got one in ya'?
  20. Good to see Wright might get a few swings against a lefty. Soupy too, looks like.
  21. It's part of the limited-commercial broadcast. I'm kinda frustrated to finally see behind the curtain, too, knowing that I have to go back tomorrow.
  22. Zvon wrote: Another ND for Niese. Who on earth would want to be a starting pitcher on the Mets?
  23. Good news: it worked. Another interesting part of that move is that he switched out the next-to-last batter of the inning (Brown) instead of the last one (Wilmer). They're sticking with the hitter over the fielder at short in a tight game.
  24. The guy has reached all three trips, though.
  25. Don't like that double switch, huh?
