  1. Oh, they'll find a way to hang the Mets for it.
  2. That's a lot of dick.
  3. Is the trade official?

  6. Pretty comparable to Ike's three-homer game. He's probably not a millionaire, and being a wealthy man of any degree shouldn't mean losing at 16 your right to professional self-determination. Just because trading without consent is the norm we've grown up with doesn't make it good. It certainly brings out the worst in fans, and I'm glad we get to see the real effect up close.
  8. Terry looks like he's tearing also.
  9. Zvon wrote: Edgy MD wrote: Oh, he looked different, all right. Maybe preoccupied. But his approach to hitting was the same. No huh-way. He was taking all the way until he saw a strike. He never goes up there taking. He looked like Bartolo. Barely bothering to put his bat over his shoulder.
  10. This is amazing. I hates the trading game.
  11. Oh, he looked different, all right.
  12. Our alleged trade chip almost getting slud into there.
  13. Then I'll move this question to this thread. Help me out. When did it become OK to trade a guy on the DL? Openly and explicitly and stuff? It seems that as recently as the last year or two that if such a guy was included in a deal, he would be officially designated as a PtBNL.
  14. Why is there a midget storm trooper behind home plate?
  15. Gotsa get men on and go deep in the same inning, guys.
  16. Brewers had an afternoon game. GET GOMEZ IN HERE IN TIME TO PULL A YOUNGBLOOD!

  18. I wouldn't describe his arm as shot. Yes, he's good as a late-inning D replacement. And they've been using him as such on the nights they start Nieuwenhuis.
  19. Please. Enough with the calls for blood.
  20. I guess we watch to see if Flores is pulled.
  21. No, he's still technically on the disabled list while getting his rehab work in.
  22. Torrez sure knows how to get the job done ugly.
  23. Yeah, he seems to have the full sidewalls on the mustache like Nino. That would place it in 1978, Kingman's best full season. I think it may be Mike Bruhert next to Nino.
  24. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Can't waste 2 leadoff walks like that. Indeed. Conforto took a borderline pitch, but Flores looked kinda klueless.
