She's mind kind of date. Forty weeks in and she's still going to ballgames. Loewen was a minor league Met for a bit, I believe. I also think he was a two-way player.
  2. No big league movement here, but these two moves today may add up to Matz being a left-handed option out of the pen in the post-season. 3. 2012. My hero for a while there.
  4. Tonight's most fascinating person behind home plate is Fabulously Pregnant Lady. Motown Dancing Girl in front of her is OK in my book also.

  6. And 11 unanswered after they were down 7-2.
  7. Good hold, Teufel.
  8. Sounds like Met fans are financing a new left-handed reliever for the Phils. They've packed the place. Oh, and... RUN, CESPEDES!
  9. Ruben wanted a taste of whatever the other guys were drinking.
  10. Quit crying, Cuddyer. Pack your shit. You're traded.
  11. Edgy MD wrote: Five-run deficit. Let's delete that. I was saying, man. I don't know what Alderson is waiting for. How much better can Flores' trade value get.
  12. Bleh, good pitch but that warn't no strike.
  13. Man, strike two was a hanging slider right down the chunnel.
  14. Frayed Knot wrote: Edgy MD wrote: Phillies announcer calling on Morgan to knock somebody down. Same thing Gary & Ronnie were saying about deGrom 3 innings ago (well, pitch more inside anyway). And there we are.
  15. Phillies announcer calling on Morgan to knock somebody down.
  16. This Cuddyer guy can't reach the wall. Let's release him.
  17. This d'Arnaud guy may turn out to be worth something. Let's trade him for a Cy Young winner.
  18. This Flores guy may be worth something. Let's trade him.
  19. This Wright guy may turn out to be worth something. Let's trade him.
  20. Five-run deficit. Let's delete that.
  21. That's a forgotten story: Some video of a guy sitting alone in his section talking to a Mister Met hand puppet, if I recall correctly.
  22. In 2013, David Wright missed seven weeks, and returned... against Philly in Philly. Two-run homered in the first against Cole F. Hamels to provide the margin of victory.
  23. I like that lineup. As curious as I am to see a Murphy/Uribe platoon at first like there had been at third, I'm not going to bat over that one, considering (a) how Murphy is swinging the bat, ( how Uribe isn't, and © how little experience Uribe has over there.
  24. Only loss to the Phils this year was this 3-1 jobbie at the hands of Cole Hamels. It's miserly to be embittered about a single loss, but it ended Matt Harvey's 5-0 start and took some of the the magic out of his comeback.
  25. "Chooch," man, not "Cheech."
