The Mets clearly hate the kids.

All I look for from a manager is a team of guys trying to find an edge, exploit weaknesses, control the game situation rather than their just their own outcomes. I'm not seeing that.

Tried to think about mid-season or late-season acquisitions of once-good players, going downhill but needed for a few weeks by a shorthanded Mets squad. Nixon, Conine, Daubach ... ANKIEL! The one I didn't come up with/wouldn't have come up with was Daubach.
