Stat cited as the Inning closed there: this was the first 'clean' inning for the Mets since the 4th inning in game 3 So, iow, no clean innings for the last 13!!!!! for NYM pitching.
FOX just (very briefly) flashed up a stat showing that the Dodgers have had 2x as many ABs as the Mets w/RiSP and 4x as many hits. If that don't 'splain this series I'm not sure that anything else will

Back to the inning ending batter interference on the stolen base attempt, can you imagine a scenario where SNY never shows a replay and has no discussion as to whether it was the proper call or not? Of course you can't. But FOX cut right to their commercial(s) and never mentioned it again.
Another thing about these high walk/multiple pitching change games is the pace of them: two hours in and just barely starting the 6th. Throw in the later start and increased commercial time and I'm going to have a tough time surviving.
The Cleveland closer, Emmanuel Clase, pitched 74 innings this season giving up 5 ER, 39 hits, and 2 HRs. Tonight he comes with 2 out and one on in the 8th and goes HR, HR, 1B before finally ending the inning.
And Boone has the 'Bitching at Umpires' lead about 7 - Zip so far. He somehow got the umps to have a six-man confab in order to discuss a time violation on Juan Soto (it made the count 0-1). He then bitched about it all the way to the dugout and after that when they didn't reverse the decision. I have no idea what specifically the umps were discussing although I hope it was their post-game dinner plans.
I usually don't have a problem dismissing those games where they suck at hitting, pitching and fielding all at the same time. But when it's this time of year and it happens twice in a three game span it's a bit more concerning.
Usually the first game of each series and the first home game of the series for each city gets the prime time slot, so this just looks like a big ol' FU from the networks towards Cleveland (although it reverses tomorrow so it all comes out in the wash).
