Gary says the Rockies are ready to call up Kaz,might have done for this series but didn't want the distraction.

I'm more worried about Glavine than I am about Woodie, as for Marlon Anderson he got a good multi-year deal and took it, good for him.

Poor Keith looks a little seedy in the booth today, they had a fun night last after the celabration he said.

Here's a cool pic to start the day. OK, help me out. Row one: Backman, Johnson, Teufel, Carter, Cashen, Hernandez, Orosco, Wilson, Dykstra, Hearn Row two: Harrelson, Fernandez, Elster??, Mitchell, Santana??, Aguilera??, Strawberry, Darling, ?? (he looks 60), Sisk??, Ojeda, Niemann??, Robinson

Glen Close

]Oliver Perez pitched a gem for Norfolk last night, apparently. 7 innings,1 hit with 11 strike outs,no runs and two walks.

Jesus this is bad news, whatever about our team I hope Glavine will be ok...

Gary says that there is a rule that the official scorer can invoke that will disqualify Hernandez for the win because he was not effective.

Posada clears the bases with a triple, damn.

Beckett was brutal ,he walked nine and leads the league with home runs given up, and the eegit brought in for Beckett walks in another run....hey Peter Gammons is at the park....great to see that.

Looks like another long day at Fenway as the Sox tie the game up at 5 in the fifth.

Jeter with another huge hit and the yanks take the lead back 11 to 10.....

Sox up 10 to 7 now, Steve I know what you are saying, I just liked the fact that Kaat jumped on Leiter when he said that, Al felt the need to pretty much say what you wrote after that.

Damn but I like Jim Kaat, Leiter talking about Bernie Williams said blah blah blah Bernie is not making big money this year....Kaat.....he's not?..really...he's making more than a million isn't he?.....

]I swear, they must have gotten the water out of the Liffey its so bloody bad! Duan might not like that statement.....

The second out swinging on some serious high heat...

Gary tells us that for the next two games the Mets will wear 86 uniforms to honour the guys.

I love watching Bradford pitch, plus he's shit-hot,great job by Trax tonight.

WOW that sucks, I would like to hear them go with "celebrate" from a band from Ireland called "An Emotional Fish"...great bloody song... ] She insists that she's a lunatic, closer to the bone She hardly ever visits upstairs, ride the telephone Well I guess beauty does what beauty does best It's beautiful See that's the trouble with reality, it's taken far too seriously I do hope God is good to me and Santa Claus to the children Celebrate This party's over I'm going home Celebrate This party's over I'm going home His essential complications are hung up and confused It's a planet full of traffic lights and traffic light abusers But that's no stranger than strange Or any other stranger He claims it's dangerous to be innocent 'cause you're the victim every time Histories of insanity intruding on the sane Celebrate This party's over I'm going home Celebrate This party's over I'm going home Histories of insanity intruding on the sane Even if your problem is the problem do we have to play those games? But all these dizzy numb For anyone to shoulder See that's the trouble with reality, it's taken far too seriously I do hope God is good to me and Santa Claus to the children Celebrate This party's over I'm going home Celebrate This party's over I'm going home Celebrate This party's over I'm going home Celebrate This party's over I'm going home

What rookie is starting tomorrow?,I'm drawing a blank .

After seeing the replay I think Delgado did the right thing,Chavez with a home run....

Good, without seeing a replay yet I don't think Beltrans throw would have got the runner....

Wright brings Beltran home from second with a double,Delgado to third. Mets 1-Rockies - 0

Two on two out and Wright at bat....perfect....
