  3. Jay Horowtz has taken to Twitter like he was made for it....quite entertaining Jay Horwitz ?@Jay_HorwitzPR I miss David Wright so much that I'm in line to talk to him on MLB's #ChattingCage. Are you? pic.twitter.com/JML7zCBQoV

  6. They're doing it for Hugo aren't they? Fred?????
  7. Paying homage to a team that got to a WS?, they did do something for the 2000 team IIRC...they were all at a game one night or summit.

  10. Nice work, apologies for not participating in these...not that good at projecting beyond "he'll suck or he won't".
  11. I look for them to be over......caught some of the Nats feed for the Mets game the other night on MLB as did some others from here, the commentator was just awful....it's instructive as it reminds me how good GKR are and how good the Mets radio crew are.

  13. Just watched this on Netflix HD...liked it....I too wonder about his motivation Ceetar....I think that scene where he beats the guy to pulp and there's as moment with the girl, that's the real him. What was he before he showed up at Shans auto shop five years ago?
  14. It surely has.....where are all the MLBS?
  15. Maher is sporting the blue lately
  16. He sounds scarily like the real singer...it's weird..... I wonder if they tailor the performers to the opponents?

Willis has been running a series on his blog called "Soccer Out of Context" where he's redesigning Major League Baseball uniforms with soccer aesthetics. It's been a fun series as far as reading his design choices. Today he published the last entry which covers the teams of the NL East, which includes some nice stories about Shea Stadium. I love those jerseys .....cool story on his Shea adventures . These can't be bought right?
  19. What an asshole.......he obviously knew that his request to play SS was going to be turned down.....an easy out, jerk.
  20. Christ I just saw this one....fucks sake Fred You can go your own way I'll go AMWAAAAAY Loving You ,Loving US"
  21. That is weird.... not the forum for it but the local rags are really trying to outdo each other in the cannibal cop headlines.....and the bar is set very low.
  22. Christ , everytime I open the forum my mind sees RIP in front of the players name.
  23. Cool armpits bad news for this prospect Prospect struck in face, may need surgery http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/mets/post/_/id/61527/mets-prospect-struck-in-face-may-need-surgery?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
  24. I can see him being out of shape, perfect fit his future as a DH. It would be harsh for the fans to give him Pelfrey treatment, wouldn't be surprising though. In a platoon by mid May.
