In fact, it was so good that it allowed us to overlook the play of one Ike Davis. I think the forum here didn't overlook how awful a start he has had.....the booth had a n interesting in game chat with the hitting coach I think last week.....Keith was asking great questions and making great observations , the coach was too....my take away was that Ike is not that good at taking instructions...

But would Wally make the Baxter's, the Recker's better players?, they are what they are. During the late innings last night Keith was getting exasperated as is his wont with the the outfield this time for being too deep and not moving in with the game on the line " you don't need a coach to tell you this", "this is baseball 101". I'm watching thinking wow that's damning right there.

Just saw the highlights of the extra innings, Baxter should have got Dobbs at the plate for the tying run? Perhaps I should say a better arm gets not fleet of foot Dobbs at the plate?
