  1. =metirish post_id=154399 time=1714943434 user_id=72] I'm calling this season now , holy fuck this team
  2. Welcome to the turd of a shitshow that MLB now is. The Mets, one game under .500 and winless in seemingly two or three weeks are currently in the money. Nowadays, a team could be the 20th best team in all of baseball and still make the playoffs.

He probably thought he would distinguish himself by designing a pitcher's park to such an extreme degree, that it would stand out and be deemed "interesting", "clever". And in turn, he himself would be deemed "interesting" and "clever". He had no idea about what he was doing and I'd bet everything that he ignored the advice of everyone and bullied and steamrolled anyone who dared to disagree with him.

Fonebone: We're so disappointed in your forgetfulness or lack of attention to details in the first place that we're tempted to ask that you return to TCG, all of the free baseball cards, promos and other goodies we've been mailing you over the years in responses to your fan mail. From the Staff at Typewriter Chewing Gum Co. Inc., a subsidiary of Plasticine Industries, makers of Plastic Soda, Colonel Gumm Gum and Plasticine Teen Magazine. Covering the Citi Field era Mets like no other baseball card company, Typewriter Chewing Gum Co., a subsidiary of Plasticine Industries, anticipates Tomas Nido's Blondie themed return to the major leagues by two years. 12. It took too long to expand the 25-man roster to 26. For a while, some teams would be playing with just three position player backups.
  13. Money always talks the loudest. That's also why practically half of the teams now make the playoffs.
  14. Before we were so rudely interrupted .... 2023 Typewriter Chewing Gum Total+ Mets set - Code Name: Mexico [FIMG=333]https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53670119738_b753bb39e4_h.jpg[/FIMG]
  15. Six to eight weeks, they say, but my experience is telling me, today, that I should be very happy if he's back by the All-Star break.
  16. ESPN grades all the City Connect unis that have debuted to date and gives the Mets an "] They forgot to attach a small parachute to the top of the caps to symbolize the guy that parachuted into Shea for game 6 of the '86 WS. And they could've also stapled large metal blue or orange corrugated shingles to the back of the shirt to represent, I mean symbolize, the blue and orange corrugated shingles that decorated the Shea exterior. How symbolic would that be? I would've Iiked to see the logos of the many, many newspapers that existed in NYC during the 60s.That would symbolize the NYC press. It covered the Mets. I would've also embroidered Willard Mullin's famous signature on the inside of the shirt. That'd be a secret symbol. Like the Easter eggs that get snuck onto a DVD.

  18. =Centerfield post_id=152613 time=1713557751 user_id=65] No one objects to the term “pimping” a home run. Maybe the word has evolved from its original meaning to now being a synonym for flamboyant.
  19. On second thought, nicknames should be banned. It's kinda like cheating. Barry.
  20. Wanna know who else never dressed Iike a pimp? Walt Frazier.
  21. After we're through with this rally guy, let's go back in time to beat the living crap out of Dancing Harry.

  24. Bob Alpacadaca wrote: Martino is right. Pimps are bad people who abuse women. They are not something we should be glorifying. We wouldn't celebrate a Rally Drug Dealer. He can wear whatever he wants, like any other fan. But we should not celebrate this. We should blame him for all the pimps in the world and then chop his head off. I agree with your entire post but the last sentence and have no idea what your post has to do with the new Mets rally guy.
