Carter was always in front of the camera regardless of another 0-4. Called him Camera Carter when I wasn't calling Pop-up Carter. He was FotF for sure, but it kinda drove me nuts at times.

At quick glance, Edgy's list is pretty solid. It's a little too Mazz-heavy maybe and could use a sprinkling of some Hundley? Hubie Brooks had a nice face.
  5. Never occurred to me all these years, but yeah injured is more approriate.
  6. RIP. Sir.
  7. Assuming he can still bend over, Mo Vaughn at center?
  8. Sell an office building, spend proceeds on your NEW YORK team. Rinse and repeat.
  9. This has me giggling like a lefty specialist.
  10. Lotsa fun, truly the highlight of our off-season activities every year. It was close for awhile. Gunky Pebblehead begged me to reinstate him when it was tied so he could vote for SMILE HIGH and right the ship but I had to tell him, 'dude, once your banned - your banned.' http://leaptoad.com/mets/covers/home_version.png> Got a super low bid going on eBay for this so I can play year round. Don't anyone be a weenie and try and drive the action up. I saw it first.
  11. Lol... http://leaptoad.com/mets/covers/2018/20180422_NYDN_02.jpg>
  12. His J name was easier to say than that other J name.
  13. He shoots, he scores!
  14. Agreed it was a tad light, I only stayed until lunch. The HOF guy scheduled for the afternoon was a repeat from previous year too.
  15. Ackert was a panel guest at Saturday's SABR-NYC meeting and said she was going to solely be covering the Skanks this year
  16. The old forum is here: http://www.thecranepool.nethttp://www.thecranepool.net
  17. Benjamin Grimm wrote: I agree with what CF is saying, but quoting that 685,000 population of the city of Boston is misleading. The Red Sox market extends far beyond the city limits. Yes, Red Sox Nation is at least five states big.
  18. Add the CT and NJ fans and that 8.6 million grows quite a bit. I know people dismiss me as a broken record, but if the Padres can be in the mix of the potential big deals, so should the Mets -- and fuck Jeff Wilpon and his take/spin a few days ago.
  19. You're out of order! You're out of order! The whole POLL is out of order!
  20. =RealityChuck post_id=1824 time=1548440168 user_id=82]Most of the team's big contracts ended with disappointing results, so the Wilpons, quite rightly, don't want to jump in an get burned again.
  21. Swedish intervention suspected?
  22. It's harder for the ruskies to infiltrate our new platform. If voting starts to look less promising for the deserving winner, I'm not above aiding in meddling.
