Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports there's "real concern" Pete Alonso (wrist) will require a trip to the injured list. Heyman adds that Alonso may miss "a few weeks." The 28-year-old slugger was sent back to New York on Thursday to undergo some additional testing, including an MRI, after being hit by a pitch earlier this week against the Braves. It would be a significant loss for the Mets and fantasy managers if he winds up missing a couple weeks. There should be an official update on his status prior to Friday's game against the Pirates, but fantasy managers should plan on him heading to the injured list.
