  1. I'm just trying to get a jump on the negativity.
  2. BOOOOOOOOOOO![/bigpurple]
  3. And I think we'll see them a few times this year, too. If I remember right, the Mets didn't get approval in time to make them "official" for 2012, but they are allowed to wear "unofficial" uniforms a limited number of times each season, and the blues will be used that way this year. And they'll become "official" in 2013.
  4. Five Mets games have ended with a plunked batter.
  5. This photo appeared in the Unis thread: Ladies and Gentlemen... Roger Craig is the seventh oldest living Met. As of today he is 82 years, 54 days young. The only guys older are: Yogi Berra May 12, 1925 86 years, 335 days Joe Ginsberg October 11, 1926 85 years, 183 days Dave Hillman September 14, 1927 84 years, 211 days Frank Thomas June 11, 1929 82 years, 305 days Joe Pignatano August 4, 1929 82 years, 251 days Jimmy Piersall November 14, 1929 82 years, 149 days Source

  8. This one's not looking too promising, is it?
  9. 78 pitches through 4 innings. Looks like it will be another five-inning game for him.
  10. I predicted Lutz, but I'd rather see Jordany. Install him at second and move Murphy to third.
  11. Damage limited to one run as Santana fans Desmond. I wonder how many of the players are actually wearing condoms?
  12. Ugh. Wild pitch scores a run.
  13. TransMonk wrote: Lotsa pitches in that first inning, but no runs across. 27 to be exact. If he keeps that up, he'll be lucky to go four innings.

  15. This is a great thread. I'm a little concerned, though, about what's going to happen with these attachments when the thread eventually gets archived.

  17. For the third time in three games, Ronny Cedeno received points that averaged down to zero (this time he had a total of 0.02). He does not appear in the results.
  18. Ronny Cedeno's total of 0.02 points averaged down to zero, so he does not appear among the results.

Looks like the Mets are also lacking in cute-female depth.
  22. I guess Darryl is safe for at least one more day. So what happens? My guess: Murphy to third and Cedeno to second.
  23. I'm with Willets too.
