Because you need three outfielders, most teams have a minimum of four and usually five, yet we had two (2-1/2 at best) and none if you count full-timers and only one if you count only those who have
at least 150 career ML ABs.

When the Mets were furiously charging in the first game, I sent him a note re the 8-run comeback. Figured it might come in handy if the Mets were going to, as a former Astros owner liked to say, keep charging. Nice of Gary to mention it in the second game.
