Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 So, I'm still thinking of that game last week when the moved Travis d'Arnaud around the infield to keep the ball away from him. Have you ever seen that before?I mean, there's the famous game of Rusty swapping with Clint Hurdle, and then there's the Orosco/McDowell game, but these are cases of late (or extra) innings of a tight game where a manager has been forced to use a DH or pitcher on defense for two innings. I don't know if led to deep shame on the part of d'Arnaud, but I think a manager trying to hide a guy the whole game is unprecedented.
