Bad pitching plus two infield grounders NOT turned into outs = ... well pretty much a typical 1st inning as far as the Mets are concerned.

The Nats look like they're back down to four racing Presidents again after briefly expanding to five and then six.
They should get a Trump mock up, but then stage so that at one point in each race he falls flat on his face.

The bad news is that only 2 of those 4 hits actually knocked in a run.

This entire game essentially turned in the 1st inning. The Mets fail twice to turn grounders into outs and instead turned one of their own singles into an out.
This is a very different game if that 1st frame plays out differently.
