G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Robert Gsellman will be Live at 4:05, Throwing Copper at the Nationals, who will be scarred like that. Lightning Crashes all around Gio Gonzalez, courtesy of a unified Met lineup in which nobody says I Alone can fix this. They will be All Over him.xSHAqHA-SPc

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Players' weekend is really confusing when you get a lineup full of nicknames for players you don't particularly know in the first place.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 We have nine relief pitchers today.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Author Posted August 26, 2017 Zimmerman hurt his hand sliding into home in Houston the other night.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Bad pitching plus two infield grounders NOT turned into outs = ... well pretty much a typical 1st inning as far as the Mets are concerned.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 The Nats look like they're back down to four racing Presidents again after briefly expanding to five and then six. They should get a Trump mock up, but then stage so that at one point in each race he falls flat on his face.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 6-2 Nats in the 8th. Flores did homer.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 The good news is we're 4-for-7 w/RiSPThe bad news is that only 2 of those 4 hits actually knocked in a run. This entire game essentially turned in the 1st inning. The Mets fail twice to turn grounders into outs and instead turned one of their own singles into an out. This is a very different game if that 1st frame plays out differently.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 Lugo up, Gsellman down; McGowan back as 26th man.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Sorry, what I meant to say is that the band Live, featured at the top of this thread, is 0-1, as in, the Mets are 0-1 in games featuring an in-game thread kicked off with a Live video.Live are from the cooby orbit, by the way, having hailed from York, PA.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 This team makes me more or less constantly feel like my placenta's falling to the floor. Lord, I feel it coming back again.
