Not that they compete in the same league or division, but as of the close of business on August 25th (two weeks ago last Friday) the Dodgers held a theoretical 20.0 game lead over the Indians.
Going into tonight's slate it's just 2.0 games

Dodgers have lost four straight, including the first three games of a four game series in Philadelphia. They have 96 wins with 10 left to play, so they have a reasonable chance of winning fewer than 100 for the season.

When you consider how this thread started with a look at how near automatic it was going to be for them to win 100+ and how easy, or at least reasonable, it was to see them surpassing the recent
NL record of 108 or even the all time mark of 116, you see what a ridiculous slide they've had.
