Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 I got his real name. Anybody know what state he lives in?
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Cespedes suggesting that he'd like to end his big league career where it began is setting off a social media shit storm.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 I'm not particularly concerned about that sort of thing. It was dumb, but he was clearly talking about some distant abstract future.I guess it makes the list of shitpiles the Mets have stepped in this year, but pretty low.

He makes an offhanded comment about liking to play in Oakland before he retires and everyone wrings their hands about how much he must hate being a Met. Hell, this is a guy who signed with them twice when he could have gone anywhere else.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 He does spend time with his guitar on the boardwalk. Hope and pray he is still with us.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 I don't think it's proper to post his township in this thread - it's an invasion of his privacy.

And I'm just talking about reasons for Harvey's suspension, which included obvious MSG photos as "photographic proof that he was in Ottawa" for the Ranger game! Not too mention a fanbase still hurting over defections that seemed short sighted (Murphy, Turner and even Colon based on his popularity). Not too hard to believe the knee jerk reaction to a FA that commanded big money, twice, would cause a reaction by expressing fondness for hos original franchise and skipper.
