Giants do great promos, in contrast to the Mets.

How embarrassing is it now that the Braves have joined those clubs completely kicking our promotional asses with the Freeze guy, while the best the Mets can do is junk the awful and derivative "car race" of last year for a similarly lame "car race" this year, the only difference being they pedal instead of run.

"Derivative" is too kind a word. It shouldn't be that hard for a New York team to distinguish themselves.

Nice outing from Montero.
I think he'll always nibble a bit too much but he has to to some extent and today he kept the walks to a reasonable level.
Plus most of the hits were kinda soft and there were only one or two hard outs ( a couple of liners to Bruce come to mind).

Span just isn't a starting centerfielder anymore. He's covering less ground than Granderson out there.

No way! You have to use Blevins while up 6 runs because he didn't pitch yesterday and there's a day off tomorrow. His arm might fall off if he doesn't pitch 3 days in a row (even though he pitched Thursday and Friday and warmed up yesterday).

Of course you use Chasen "Down The Wind" Bradford up 6 in the 8th.
