Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 The LOLMets can't even lose right. Tonight, they put up the extremely competent Jacob DeGrom against Johnny Cueto who, surprisingly enough, plays for the Giants. Fools didn't even remember that DeGrom still has options and they could have sent him to Vegas instead of Tyler Pill. It's like they don't actually want to lose.7:15 start on FOX, which I believe means as a non-cable-subscriber who watches on MLB.tv, I'm SOL tonight.

Conflicting with a FOX game used to mean an automatic shut-out for MLB.tv subscribers whether you were getting that particular game in your area or not, but the rules changed in the lastcouple years and, seeing as how you're in an AL city nowhere near either SF or NYC, there's a decent chance that your area is showing one of FOX's other games. I know BOS/LAA is also on their menu tonight and there may be a third game as well.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 Well, there goes my excuse.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 MLB.tv is indeed broadcasting the game in my NL-deprived city. However, it's only giving me a choice between the FOX and SF radio audio feeds - no Howie for me tonight.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Vasgerjian (sp?) and Smoltz are a decent pair as network announcing teams go so your options aren't too bad even without NY radio. And a Wilmer HR as I type!!
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 Asdrubal not complaining about removing Flores' helmet. They're not bad so far, except for DAR-no instead of dar-NO.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Five full innings in 1:20 ... is that even allowed in baseball these days?
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 Interesting to hear the non-local take on promoting Rosario.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Yay, Grand, yay!Let's get that run back.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 What has Granderson been eating? And can he cook it for the rest of the lineup?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Hey, Guys is hosting from the FOX Sports Studio.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Reyes and Grandy are both now just a single, double, and homer short of a cycle tonight.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Well, I know Bradford could have done that.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Here's to playing teams having a harder time of it than the Mets are.
Guest cooby Guests Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 I forgot all about this game. Maybe that's the key to winning
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Too bad we can't play the Giants all the time.
