Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 A three-hit game by Flores will chain Reyes to the bench.MLB.tv is being kind to offer me the Fox pictures but with WOR audio overlaid in synch.
Guest cooby Guests Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Stupid ROOT TV has on kick boxing. Off to mow.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 [fimg=200]http://images.stockunlimited.net/preview1300/comic-bubble-kaboom_1707402.jpg[/fimg]Walker Kaboom gives the Mets a 2-1 lead.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Suddenly the Mets lead is cut in half. Gsellman can't avoid the "give back" inning as he gives up a 1 out home run to Bell.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Well, he only gave half back in the end.Of course, it's not the end. POUR IT ON, OFFENSE!
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Jay Bruce homers while I was doing some quick yard work. Mets back out front 3-2.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Duda strikes out with Walker running. Throw beats Walker by quite a bit, but the tag missed Walker the first time and got his left knee just as his right foot hit the bag. Walker wanted Terry to challenge, but Terry decided not to do so. Walker might have had a case that the tag was too late by the time it actually got on him, but too close to overturn the call of out.Now can Gsellman shut the Pirates down and hold on to the lead.
Guest cooby Guests Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Cervelli is on my fantasy team. He seems to be off more than he plays. Tonight's report:Francisco Cervelli (illness) remains out of the Pirates' lineup on Saturday.Advice: Cervelli was scratched from Friday's game with sinus issues. Elias Diaz, who drove in six runs Friday night, will get another start behind the plate for the Pirates.Makes some of our guys seem suddenly a little less mambly pambly
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 You always goes for a good Italian name, even a Venezuelan Italian name.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Wilmer just gave a seven-year-old moppet a baseball. 4-2 Mets with all runs scored on homers.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Flores goes deep to left for a solo shot. Mets lead 4-2.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Finishes the fifth at 96 pitches. I imagine Terry is praying he can get one more inning out of him.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 It takes 96 pitches, but Gsellman safely gets through 5 innings. Hopefully the Mets can tack on a few insurance runs in the home half of the 5th. I let Gsellman go back out to start the 6th. Every out he can give the team is important. The less outs the bullpen has to get, the better it is for the Mets.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 You and me are posting past each other, Doc.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 I see that I keep mirroring your posts. At least we are both thinking the same way during the game. Hopefully terry feels the same.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Hopefully, Gsellman can get a quick 1-2-3 inning. There's one.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 A walk of McCutcheon on a full count is not helping the pith count. Need a ground ball for a double play.Oh well, so much for that hope as Mercer singles to put runners at the corners.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Salas get his share of work for sure.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 I'm remembering the year that Fernando Nieve pitched every day the first month of the season—the radio booth was calling him "Nightly Nieve"—and then rapidly declined and never really found himself. He got hurt and never found his way back.Looking him up, he's still active, but has been pitching mostly in foreign leagues ever since.Don't be Fernando Nieve, Fernando Salas.
