Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Alright!Way to find your fastball, Reedy.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 First pitch strikes to each of the last three. Like Mr. Seaver says.I have never seen Reed smile as much, methinks.I have a good feeling about this upcoming homestand.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Really just the one bad AB for Reed. That second single was soft and a GiDP if a few feet one way or the other. He was pretty much dominant after that.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Has anyone ever tuned into Len Berman and Todd Schnitt ?, their spot has become ubiquitous

But one or two pitches later he courageously started pounding the zone, like Gsellman had been doing most of the game.Good job by LWFS stepping on up to start the thread for Ashie, who I heard was out clubbing until 4 AM last night and playing bocce and hammering Coronas all morning.I don't know, it's just what I heard.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 I mean, it beats playing Coronas and hammering bocce balls. Probably.I don't think Reed was pitching around guys, so much as he was struggling with throwing it where he needs/wants to. Get behind 1-0, 2-0, and it completely changes things for fastball-slider guys, all the more so for those whose slider is a little on the blink... and he was pretty consistently spotting that advantage to hitters over the last few appearances. Get-over fastballs/hangers tend to get tattooed.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 After this performance, I wouldn't be so quick to hand Gsellman's rotation spot to Lugo.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Should someone contact Stockholm to check whether if it's LWFS or Ashie onthe IGT-clock this afternoon? Probably too late, it's like 7-8 there now andthey don't answer the phone during normal business hours.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 If you want to lecture Maja, go ahead. I just don't have it in me. I sit there clearing my throat and blaming myself for not clarifying her job better. Things sure weren't like this before her TV show.My vote is to LWFS.
